Mark and Dani are the best! They took me to an oasis in the middle of LA – Will Rogers State Historic Park – truly an oasis! Polo fields, horse stables, and not to mention, Will Rogers’ original home… with rocking chairs on the porch. Trust me, I tried them out myself. All the best to these two lovebirds as they get married in New York next fall!

Barns and beach cruisers! So fun. Mark and Andrea had more than enough spunk and passion for the three of us… I totally LOVED every photo from this engagement session. We scouted out a rare, undiscovered barn in the hills of Livermore, and rocked the downtown afterward. I can hardly wait to see the two of them all glammed up at their wedding next May…

Erin and Josh had one of my favorite weddings this year. Held at Tarpy’s Roadhouse in Monterey, a very intimate wedding that was all about the finest: the finest food, wine and family… everything they chose was a special, special selection for a small group of their closest loved ones. The most exciting part for me, the photographer (Erin can relate, being a photographer herself!) was our pre-ceremony shoot around downtown Monterey. FUN! Crowds, colors, energy and romance…. lots of energy. Love it!

Heaven on earth! That is exactly what Marcy and Dave’s wedding was like, held at the wonderful Holly Farm (aka tropical oasis!) in beautiful Carmel, California in the height of the fall warmth. Simply heavenly. Their traditional Jewish ceremony was filled with such heart and a spirit of authentic community. I got a little carried away with this post, folks….it’s just too beautiful! Too hard NOT to share all of it…

Mental note: when I get married – Holly Farm, here I come…

I couldn’t wait to post these photos. I’m filled with happiness for my amazing friend Stacy Millar who is now Stacy Hoekman – congratulations to Stacy and Brian! After the long journey to find each other, life is sooo sweet together. Enjoy the honeymoon, you lovebirds!!

Umm..can I say… ADORABLE!? Amanda and Ben are cute as a button. Make that two buttons. These two Napa Valley natives have relocated to Seattle, but came back home to get hitched this month. A great party in a cool wine cave on a VERY hot summer’s day (100+ degrees??!). They were chillin’…all the while looking pretty sexy!

Cammellia and Saman put on quite a party. A traditional Persian wedding with such rich emotion and flavors (not to mention some AMAZING traditional meals, so yummy!) My job is eaaasy when the bride is as poised and camera-lovin as Cammellia. Cheers to JP Dobrin for some beautiful work here as well!
