Brian and Kat met in their scrubs. Doctor’s schedules can be a little short of crazy-making, but their romance was kindled in between the hallways of the OR. And after a very exciting year in 2010, winning the Amazing Race with her best friend Nat, Brian and Kat are engaged and getting married this year. Never seen a man more in love – Brian’s oogly eyes looking at Kat are enough to melt any girl’s heart. :)

When Tracy and Jeremy told us, “We wanna go to DISNEYLAND!” We thought – of course!? Why not go to the HAPPIEST place on earth when you are engaged? It’s a happy factor times 1,000! What made this easy was the fact that Tracy works for Disney, so they had free reign of the park :) Margaret took them to some of the most magical spots – including the Mad Tea Party ride – where sometimes I get that .. uhh.. magical feeling in my stomach afterward – not quite. But it’s totally hysterical and the photos were super cute. Fun fun, everyone!

Adam and Danielle are in the family, according to us!! Friends of our great friends Parker + Laura we knew they’d be so fun and easy to photograph at their engagement session! They are SO in love! Just look at ‘em! Jessica had a great time playing with these two kids at heart!!

We all know that any healthy relationship has it’s fair share of fights (especially with the mega-stress of planning a wedding!). Sometimes you just gotta get it all out of your system. So why not take it to another level and toss some paint at your fiance while you’re at it??

Casey is an amazing artist. Schooled at the Mayfield Senior School in Pasadena and now graduating from Pepperdine, she came up with a brilliant idea of having a paint fight with her fiance at their engagement shoot. Seriously, it was so much fun to just sit back and watch them go at it (painting each other, I mean ;) We used a “school” theme for this fun couple!

Oi! How do I love Roy and Amanda!!

Roy is a fine English Gentleman if I’ve ever met one! This boy has snagged the most beautiful, passionate women that California has to offer! Every time I talk with Amanda about her upcoming summer wedding, I get more excited. Not just about the fact that she has an amazing coordinator (Cynthia Beard) and florist (Kelly Oshiro) but she is just sooo much fun! Roy and Amanda are always up to some fun travel adventure, concert, etc, every time I talk to them I just want them to pack me up in their bag and take me wherever they are going next.

We had such a fun time shooting in the Laguna Canyon during Valentine’s Day weekend….ooooo the romance was in the air, baby! And we even found a bit of home for Roy at the Side Door in Corona Del Mar. Finished with a brew. Could we end the day ANY more perfectly?

There’s something about the Midwest that produces good stock. Ben and Alicia are a perfect example. Both from Ohio, relocated to sunny Southern California, and they are the kindest, happiest, sweetest couple you’ll find. We had so much fun hiking the Temescal Canyon, facing our fear of heights (balancing on a fallen tree over a rushing creek!) and playing in the sand at the beach. I can only imagine how cute they’ll be at their wedding this summer! Congrats, guys!
